Not a joke, unless you're from Denver or something like that, or have
never noticed the northern half of NJ. NJ goes right over to the Delaware
Water Gap, which is a noticeably above-sea-level bit of the Appalachians.
Having driven up Schooley's Mountain in summer, I decided never to attempt
it in winter... I can't imagine what people do who live there. Maybe they
all are writers and stay home until the ice melts, or telecommute.
