Greetings Caitlin!
Personally, I believe that no loom is ugly or without it's uses, even if
it's just to sit looming in the corner being beautifully polished and
admired. For what it's worth, SWAT (Atlantia's fiber guild) and the
Barony of Caer Mear are sponsoring a Mini-string collegium the Sunday
after Coronation at my house. It's really an informal gathering of
fiber artisans within the kingdom. If you can make it, there will be a
lot of people with diverse knowledge who could look at your loom. That
way, you can get multiple opinions about the state and cost of repair.
If you are unable to come, please e-mail me privately, and I'll see if
there are any weavers in your area who might be willing to take a look,
etc. Finally, I can give you e-mail addresses of loom companies who
might be willing to discuss your loom over the internet or phone and
give you some advice. You can find some of these links on SWAT's new
webpage at (shameless plug)

If you would like directions, etc. let me know.
May the colours of your life be fresh and bright like Spring!
Tawny
