Here are the acceptances and returns for October for Laurel.

change. Vert, a seawolf Or, a bordure Or semy of pommes.  Her former name
Akilah Jihan bint Zaid, and her former device Gules, three cats dormant
guardant Or, each charged with a cross couped gules,
a bordure Or semy of torteaux., are hereby released.

Alastar MacMathghamhna. Name.

Alison MacLeod. Name.

Alwyn Feather the Foolish. Name.

Bryan of Sacred Stone. Name and device. Per chevron sable and gules, on
a chevron argent a wolf's head cabossed between two crescents palewise
gules.

Caer Mear, Barony of. Name correction from Caer Maer, Barony of.
	The file for Caer Mear shows the Barony's name as both Caer Maer and Caer
Mear. It is not clear which was the submitted form. The Barony believes that
Caer Mear is what is registered to them, and since there is no way to know
what was actually submitted, we are giving them the
benefit of the doubt and correcting it to their desired form.

Christopher Hare. Device. Vert crusily Latin Or, a hare sejant erect
playing a straight trumpet argent.

Cristopharus filius Philippi. Name.

Daemon Broussard. Name.

David ap Tristan. Name and device. Argent, a heart, on a chief azure an
axe argent.

Rowen ferch Rhys. Name correction from Rowan ferch Rhys.

Shamus Stewart. Name and device. Per pale vert and argent, a chevron
raguly on the upper edge between three towers counterchanged.

Stefan of Caer Mear. Name and device.   Azure, two stags combattant
argent, a chief ermine.

Victoria of Alfriston. Name.

Vortigern Faber. Device. Gules, a hippogriff segreant Or between three
decrescents argent.

The following items were RETURNED by Lady Laurel at her October meeting:

Muin maqq Mínaín. Device. Vert, on a plate a brazier enflamed vert, a
bordure rayonny Or.
	This is being returned for a redraw. The bordure was not drawn as a proper
rayonny. Additionally, the flames need to be redrawn. They would be a great
deal more identifiable if they were jagged on all sides
except the bottom.

The following typographical error in the February LOAR and the O&A was
corrected by Lady Laurel at her October meeting:

February 1997

Thorvald Hrolfsson. Device. Argent, in bend sinister two boar's heads
couped close, a bordure gules.
	The LoAR incorrectly blazoned the heads as Or.
