Crusades Tapestries

Poster: "Barclay, Peter MAJ" <BarclayP@lee-dns1.ARMY.MIL>

Many have already commented on the great fighting and the superb
scrollwork that was seen at Crusades, but there was also some FANTASTIC
tapestries.

If you missed seeing the 17 or so tapestries entered by the Canton of
Elvegast, what a shame! They are quite beautiful.

Lady Morderyn Tremayne won the embroidered tapestry competition with a
replication of the Bayeaux Tapestry that was also a scroll for the Feast
of Herne.

Master Terafan, working quite outside his only skill of brewing, won the
painted tapestry competition with a huge 5' x 8' tapestry containing 6
scenes related to brewing. (which is really the only reason he was
capable of it)....

                                Terafan

Painter of the biggest and coolest tapestry at Kingdom Crusades... IMHO!
