Yes this is always a good time to bring up
the idea of costs. The question is what is needed and what do the
scribes
you're going to buy for use. I've been pretty flexible about
materials requirements
because there's such a wide variety of costs applied to them
depening on the
	region.

While I would never recommend it Master Tristan actually paints with
acrylics. It's not recommended because they flake easily off the
paper.
He says they don't if you thin them enough. Would buying him water
color be a gift? Not really. It's going to have to be something
particular
to that scribe and if it's going to be paper please make sure it's
acid
free so the stuff doesn't yellow so quickly.

Actually rather than buying my own supplies I would be much more
grateful if someone used their skill to make me something I can't.
I
annoyed Kane miserably when he said he was going to go shopping
and buy me my Christmas present and told him that he couldn't, he
had to make me something. He was extremely confused. I explained
that the time that you take to make me whatever it is that you make
is more important to me than any recognition you could get for me or
anything you buy for me. I know while you were working on this you
were thinking of me, and to me that's the most important part of a
gift.
