I just happen to have a copy sitting here -- I got it through the BMG
CD club. 9 out of 22 tracks are pre-1600. Most of the stuff from
Musica Britanica is part music and doesn't work well for solo
playing -- volume 15 only contains 2 solos and both are post-1600.
