Interesting idea Corun.  But maybe it's because the Monarchs are only 2 people
and can't know everyone in Kingdom.  Atlantia is small compared to the
Midrealm or the East, but still..... even in Marinus, I found it was not
always easy to get to know the entire populace.  In my opinion, writing a
letter to Their Majesties gives Them the opportunity to get to know the
individual recommended, and decide for Themselves if this a gentle who is
deserving of which ever award they've been recommended for.  Like I said, this
is my opinion, and I'd like to hear anyone else's comments on the subject.
