Keeping up with the Academic Joneses

Poster: "S. M. Thorson" <smt2@st-andrews.ac.uk>

All this talk about "fun" and "authenticity" being only slightly
disheartening to people like me who think the 2 go together, I went
digging in my back files (I've just dropped my thesis off for binding and
am feeling cheerful and generous, if slightly light-headed).

There is available a mailing list called The Medieval Review (TMR). It is
not designed as a discussion group but rather as a service by and for
scholars to review recent books in mediaeval studies. They have a web
site at which the past reviews are archived, and which has a search
engine:

        http://dns.hti.umich.edu/misc/bmr/tmr.html

I suspect full subscription information is available at the site. I have
the following information, but it might have changed:

Send a message to:

        mailserv@listserv.cc.wmich.edu

and the single message line:

        subscribe tmr-l

Best of all, it's free.
