This is a wonderful idea, but is not the game we play. Marklanders do it
this way, as well as some other reinactment groups ...
However the SCA has a different philosophy, that we are all assumed to be
wearing the same armor, no matter what we actually wear ... and until/if
the SCA decides to change this policy, those are the rules we are supposed
to be following ...
