I will have to agree with this response.  I reside in Falcon Cree, and at our
first Newcomers meeting, we were taught the basics of etiquette that the SCA
espouses.  Being a lady I gladly accept and thank the fine gentlemen who
practice this etiquette, except in one circumstance.  I am learning the noble
art of the blade, and at events where I expect to be able to get into pick-up
matches (as I am yet Unauthorized), I wear male garb, and tend to make a Guy of
myself.  Amusingly enough though, I do tend to practice the prescribed
etiquette...Hmmmm.....
