Well, I know one place you can shop your heart out...but it is the same
weekend as garb wars...although, since you live in town, you can do both.
And they don't care if we descend upon them in garb. So we can have the best
of all our worlds in a weekend.

The Mid-Atlantic Traditional Classic will be held May 14-16 at the Baltimore
Bowman archery range.  Its off of harford rd. Let me know if you need
directions or want to go. That is where I will be doing my shopping. There
will be merchants galore, some fun shoots...Here's a little info on it:

Accommodations:
Primitive camping in field, first come first served (water, port-a-pots, no
hook ups)
Hotels close by: Williamsburg Inn, The Colony Inn, Blue Star Inn
Bring your own food, purchase at the snackbar (breakfast, lunch, and
dinner), or drive to restaurants close by
Admission (including ranges, seminars, vendor exhibit)
Adults: 1 day = $12, 2 day = $20, 3 day = $25
Youth (13-17): half price
Children 12 and under: Free
Non-shooters: $5
Planned events:
=>Two separate 3D courses in hunting-like situations (9am Fri - 3pm Sun) -
also straw butts, at various distances, are available
=>Dealers
=>50-50 poker shoot (1-2 Friday) - shoot at cards for the best hand
=>Eagle Eye Qualifier (5-6 Fri; 10-11, 5-6 Sat; 11-12 Sun)
=>Coon shoot (8pm Friday) - shoot at targets, at night, with glow in the
dark eyes
=>Bowfishing Seminar (10 Sat)
=>Kid's Shoot 10-11:30 Saturday (see Youth Committee) bows, arrows and
instruction provided
=>Wand shoot (1-2 Sat) - can you hit a 2 inch slat from 100 yards? $2 to
shoot. Ties to broken by shoot-off. $25, $15, and $10 gift certificates.
=>Lyme Disease Seminar (1 Sat)
=>Speed round (2-3 Sat) - can you hit 3 targets, with 3 arrows, in 12
seconds?
=>Create your own Hot Spot Seminar (2 Sat)
=>Self Bow Making Seminar (3 Sat)
=>Swap Meet (6-7:30 Sat)
=>Bowfishing videos (8pm Sat)
=>Campfire (8:30pm Sat)
=>Worship Service (9-10 Sun) Otis Seese, TBM member
=>Running deer (11-12 Sun) - shoot at moving 3D target
=>Sika Hunting Seminar (11 Sun)

Directions:
Take Baltimore Beltway 695 to Exit 31 (Parkville/Carney)
Take Harford Road North (through Carney and Cub Hill), about 2 miles
Turn Right into Baltimore Bowmen (see sign, wooded entrance, gravel road)
Drive past horse barns to gate & parking area
