following is the schedule of activities for Highland River Melees,
including elevation and investiture. Information about hotels near the
site are at the bottom of the message. Please drop me a line if you have

Investiture/Elevation/Courts

Authorizations start at 10am
Fighting will follow Elevation/Investiture
Please note that combat archery will be allowed with heavy this year

Range opens for inspections:    Saturday, 9am
Practice/Royal Rounds:    Saturday, 9:30am
Highland Foorde Knowledge Shoot:    Saturday, 11am
break for Elevation/Investiture:    Saturday, 12pm
Zombie Shoot:    Saturday, 1pm
Dragon Shoot:    Saturday, 2:30pm
Night Shoot:    Saturday, 9:30pm

A&S

Competition and Display ongoing throughout the day. Check at the A&S

about the competition.

Children activities
--------------------
will begin at 2pm and end at 3:30 pm on Saturday, and will be crafts.
Children will also process into Court with the new Baron and Baroness.

Please note that the Days Inn, Sheraton and Ramada near the site are
sold out.
