Under: If only I knew about this earlier
Greetings to the Merry Rose from Lord Leifr Johansson
My pardon to anyone who might have mentioned this before...
The National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., apparently between 4th
and 6th streets NW on Constitution Ave, hours Monday - Saturday 10:00 am
to 5:00 pm and Sunday 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, has a wonderful exhibit on
Italian Renaissance Architectural Models running from Dec 18 to March
19. Yep, that's this Sunday.
I am looking at the flyer for the exhibit and these things are
beautiful. The detailing is impressive and the architecture itself well
worth looking into. There are over half a dozen models in wood and about
60 plus drawings.
Now if only I can find time to get to the exhibit.
Hopefully in service and sorry to be so late.
Leifr Johansson
