This is the recipe for a drink I was served many times in Ansteorra.  It is
wonderful on hot, hot days, expecially after the fighting.

Purpure, a gore argent, a fox couchant regardant argent.

Persian Mint Drink

4 cups sugar
2 = cups water
1 cup white vinegar
6 springs fresh or 1 tablespoon dried mint leaves

Bring sugar and water to a boil.
Add vinegar, bring back to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes.
Add mint.
Cool and store in sealed containers.

To serve:
Dilute 1 cup of syrup into 12 cups of water.
