I disagree here. Right after you receive a scroll, you want to look at it.
You want to carry it away with you back to your seat. You want to show it to
your friends at the table with you.
Usually all your friends want to see it as well. I

As a scribe I agree, but I think that having a separate safe table for display
after court or the feast is best, and that recipients should be free to
display them or not.

Actually, the main thing I wish people understood is that the materials we use
as Atlantian scribes come out of our pockets- so if you think your scroll is
too small or should have been done on parchment, you'll understand that
someone did you this service out of their own pocket, most often never having
met you, and they worked hard on it.
