The SCA is dedicated to *Western European* history pre-1600. Says so in our
Corpora.

Personas from outside Western Europe are considered to be visitors to a western
European court. (In theory)

There are a LOT of Mongol and Japanese personas out there, reenacting pre-1600
Mongol and Japanese culture.

I've rarely encountered antipathy towards these folks, nor towards the
occational Chinese, Aztec (Heck, there's Aztec heraldry registered in the CoA),
African, etc. personas I've seen.

But most folks have Western European personas because that is the focus of the
SCA. Few really mind the non-Western European personas much. It's not as if
there's another group for them to play in in most parts of the world. And the
SCA is fairly inclusive.

I didn't read *anything* like this in his reply. I saw nothing at all that
even hinted that he thought 'cultures outside of Western Europe are more
important than other cultures of the world.'

I also didn't ready anything in his reply that looked like he thought other
cultures were *less* important than Western European cultures.
