Pennsic Fighting Schedule

Poster: "MRuttle" <mruttle@xperts.com>

Having reviewed the Pennsic schedule, let me put it another way...focusing
on the Battles.

****************************
MONDAY THE 16TH
-- No Battles

TUESDAY THE 17TH
-- No Battles

WEDNESDAY THE 18TH
11:00am (Battle Field)- Belted Champion's Battle
-- Battle between a select few from both the East and the Middle.

2:00pm (Battle Field)- Mountain Pass Battle
-- 2 hour resurrection battle everyone gets to play in.

THURSDAY THE 19TH
2:00pm (Woods)- Woods Battle
-- 2 hour resurrection battle everyone gets to play in.

FRIDAY THE 20TH
2:00pm (Battle Field)- Bridge Battle
-- 1 hour single death battle everyone gets to play in but with limited
individual engagement.

>> 4:30pm (Battle Field)- Allied Champion's Battle
-- Battle between a select few from amongst the Allies.

>> SATURDAY THE 21TH
>> 2:00pm (Battle Field)- Field Battle
-- Single death battle everyone gets to play in that could last between 5-20
minutes (barring holds).

**************************
By my math, and from the view point of the average fighter, this equals a
sum total of around 4.5 hours of large scale melee throughout the WEEK (this
assumes a generous 15 minutes of engagement for each of the single death
battles).

Where is the first field battle?

Where is the amorphous maze battle?

Where is the friendship battle? (not for point sure but...)

Those of us who enjoy melees most of all may not get our fill this Pennsic.
Not that I'm whining or anything but...okay I'm whining...but why so few
fights this year?

Just curious.

Cheers
