Actually, you'd be surprised what people will get their knickers in a bunch
about. Five or six years ago, a couple in England were expecting their 8th
child. They decided she needed an edge to make her special in her family,
so the family petitioned the government to allow them to name their child
"Princess Anne" fill-in-a-last-name. It was granted! They did so. Three
years later some officious so-and-so decided that the term Princess was
protected and they would just have to change their daughter's name. I think
they are still in litigation over it.
